Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you well and filled with anticipation for the upcoming school year. My name is Tammy Eosso, and I am thrilled to be your child's first-grade teacher at St. Rose of Lima. As we embark on this exciting journey together, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my enthusiasm for the year ahead.

With a wealth of experience in the classroom, I am eager to bring my passion for education to the first-grade level. The joy and curiosity that young learners bring to the classroom are truly inspiring, and I am committed to creating an environment where your child can flourish academically, religiously, and socially.

In our classroom, we will celebrate the unique strengths and qualities that each student brings. First grade is a pivotal year where foundational skills are honed and new ones are acquired. You can expect to see remarkable growth in your child's academic abilities and interpersonal skills throughout the year.

Our classroom will be a safe and welcoming space where students can explore, question, and learn. I firmly believe that when children feel supported and valued, they are more likely to take risks and embrace challenges. I am dedicated to fostering an atmosphere that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine love for learning.

- Supply box that will fit inside your child's desk
- Multipack of Ticonderoga # 2 pencils sharpened
- 1 box of 24 count crayons ( Crayola)
- 2 highlighters
- Multipack of glue sticks
- One small pencil sharpener
- 1 pair of blunt children's scissors
- Two folders (one blue and one red)
- One 1/2 inch three-ring binder with clear plastic front
- One dry erase marker
- One dry eraser
- One dry erase board (8.5 x 11)
- Index card box with dividers
- 2 packs of index cards (100 count)

Please replenish these items throughout the school year, as needed. 

Wish List

Box of tissues, wipes, sandwich and gallon sized ziplocs

Please provide a healthy snack each day, packed separately from your child's lunch.

Monday:  Spanish

Tuesday:   Gym

Wednesday:  Music

Thursday:  Technology

Friday: Art

*Students must wear gym uniforms and sneakers to school on gym days. 

All class information will be posted in Google Classroom. Important information will also be emailed or sent via the Remind App.
Our Google Classroom and Remind App code will be sent home the first week of school.
