Principal's Message

St. Rose of Lima School is a Catholic elementary school affiliated with St. Rose of Lima Church in Freehold. We are educating students in Grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8, and we are proud to have educated generations of students many of which have returned to us with their own families. We are a vibrant community of families who all share the same goal of educating students in an academically enriched environment with daily religious education instruction in our Catholic faith and the tenets of our church. We consider a Catholic school education as a gift to a child that has the capacity to last their entire lifetime. We recognize parents as our partners in the education of their children and honor the sacrifices that they have made to pay tuition with our continuous hard work, and individualized attention to each child and family.

We have a talented and fully certified Administration and Faculty who are capable of leading students to discover their full potential. Our students score exceptionally well on academic and religious assessments, and we are proud of their achievements. We require all graduates to participate in community service activities before they are eligible for graduation. Our graduates attend local Catholic High Schools, public schools, and public magnet school programs. Graduates often receive scholarships and awards for academic excellence and community service. We prepare our students to become future leaders of our church and communities both near and far. 

We have an active PTA which encourages the work and participation of all families. We offer our students the opportunity to participate in a variety of team sports, and extracurricular activities. Our students participate in First Friday Mass and liturgical celebrations throughout the school year. Our parents provide many enriching experiences for our students and families both throughout the school day, and beyond. We are proud to be a Catholic school and understand that Jesus is the unseen guest in our hallways and classrooms, and it is to this end that we love and nurture the gifts and talents of our students.
