7th Grade Homeroom - News & Updates

• Welcome to November - Here are a few reminders for this month:
• PLEASE REMEMBER TO SIGN UP FOR PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES - AN EMAIL WAS SENT TO ALL PARENTS!!
• Friday Nov 3rd is a half day 
• Friday Nov 10th - Veteran's Day Drive Thru
• Friday Nov 17th - End of 1st Trimester
• PARENT ACCESS REOPENS FRIDAY by 1PM
• 
  1-If you try to access the portal 2 times with incorrect credentials, the account will be locked.
  At that point you should try the Forgot Password Link 24 hours later from your  last unsuccessful attempt.
  
  2-If you try to access the portal 5 times with incorrect credentials, the account will be locked and new credentials will need to be sent from Genesis Support. The Forgot Password Link at that point will not help you to achieve access.
  
  3-If this occurs, you will have to wait until Tuesday December 5th for the account to be re-enabled by Genesis Support.  (no one is available Mondays)

• Wednesday, Nov 22nd - No School for Students - Parent/Teacher Conferences
• Thursday, Nov 23rd & 24th - No School - Happy Thanksgiving 
• Thursday, Nov 30th - 7th & 8th Grade Class Trip - Sight and Sound Theatre - Please fill out form that was sent home and return with amount due as soon as possible.  

• Reminders:
• Make sure to check out the Genesis Parent Portal for students grades.
• Extended Care - If students are signing up for extended care, please make sure to go onto our school website and fill out the calendar each month and send it to the main office.
• Water bottles are permitted during the day. .  
• If students bring their cell phones to school - they must be turned off and handed in each morning - they will be returned to them at the end of the day.
• If you haven't done already please sign up for the Remind App - instruction letter is included in the welcome  packet that was sent home the first day of school.
• If students arrive at school before 7:30 they should go to early care using the doors on the right side of the "U" shaped parking lot. 
• If students are not in their homeroom by 7:45 they will be marked late/tardy.
• Make sure to check out our school website and E-blast every week to keep up to date on all school events and information.
